Canadian Government Workers End 12-Day Strike

Union secures 12% wage gain over four years, in deal that may complicate central bank’s inflation-fighting effort

OTTAWA—Canada and one of the country’s main public-sector unions reached an agreement early Monday to end a 12-day strike, in a labor dispute economists were closely monitoring to assess the impact on the central bank’s quest to drive down inflation.
