“...what comes upon me daily; my deep concern for all the churches.”  (II Corinthians 11:23b)

The New Testament demonstrates that, just as no individual Christian is to isolate himself from the authority and accountability of the local church, even so no local church is to be an island unto herself.  Each local congregation established in the gospel of Jesus Christ shares an inseparable connection to God’s kingdom that is advancing throughout the entire world.  We must be prayerfully concerned for one another and we need the mutual encouragement, counsel, and accountability of sister churches who share our same doctrine and practice.  Additionally, there are many important gospel labors such as world missions, church planting, ministerial training, and literature publication that are often beyond the scope and abilities of one lone church, but which are possible when we formally join ourselves together in cooperative efforts as a league of like minded churches.

To this end, Berean is formally connected to two associations of churches which fully subscribe to the Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689 as an accurate summary of our interpretation of the Bible’s teachings.  On a nationwide level our church became a member of the Association of Reformed Baptist Churches of America (ARBCA) on April 22, 2009.  On the state level Berean is a charter member of the Georgia Association of Confessional Baptists, which was formally constituted on March 19, 2010.  Please visit these websites to learn more about Berean Baptist Church.
