Rory Satran is the fashion director at The Wall Street Journal and a contributing editor at WSJ. Magazine. She writes the weekly "Off Brand" column, which focuses on trends and how fashion intersects with our daily lives.

She covers fashion week, and frequently interviews the CEOs and creative directors of luxury brands. For the features sections and as A-Heds, she's reported on phenomena including the Nap Dress, ironic wired headphones, tweens in LoveShackFancy dresses, and the lingerie upstarts challenging Victoria's Secret.

Rory started her career in Paris, where she wrote for The Washington Post and edited the biannual fashion magazine Self Service. She also worked at i-D magazine, and edited the book "Opening Ceremony" (Rizzoli, 2012).
